Content in a Flash – Alien Disclosure:

1. UFO today: The disclosure, the report 116-233 US political institutions act on the information received by US military on UFOs and release a report about the recent discoveries;

2. Alien disclosure today, self imposed obstacles – Mainstream view about aliens is one of ridicule; such view has been encouraged by US government over the years and now they are complaining about it in the report;

3. UFO today: The disclosure, Minimum evidence – While we are not yet completely sure about what they are, at the very least we are witnessing foreign, astonishing vehicles or beings;

4. UFO disclosure today, a scientific revolution? – The discovery of UAPs leads inexorably to a redefinition of what is included under the term “science” and the role that ufology starts adopting.

1.UFO Disclosure: Report 116-233.

On December 27, 2020 a $2.3 trillion appropriations bill, known as the Consolidated Appropriations Act was signed into law.

The Senate Intelligence Committee included in its Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 a stipulation that mandated the Director of National Intelligence to work with the Secretary of Defense on a report detailing what the government knows about Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), commonly known as UFOs. Such report was due to be released to Congress within 180 days, meaning no later than June 25, 2021.

On June 25, 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence submitted to Congress the Preliminary assessments UAP-20210625 (Report 116-233) that relays the progress that the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force has made in understanding UAP.

Now, needless to say, the event is historic. Nothing of this magnitude has ever happened before.

While mainstream in general didn’t give much weight to the matter, expectation in the UFO community was growing stronger by the day, mainly because many naively hoped that after decades of censorship the US government would finally admit the extraterrestrial presence on our planet.

That was not the case, and we believe that’s perfectly normal because even if the government had discovered that some UAPs are super-advanced alien spaceships, as we believe, they would certainly not release the news overnight, leaving our civilization likely to collapse in anomic chaos.

Some say that an alien contact must be planned in stages. First stage: Awareness, UFOs are real.

We believe that the report Report 116-233 is as historic as the moment we are living: a moment of exceptional and epochal importance. The mere fact that the Report exists means that the paradigm has changed. Now UFOs are a serious issue. Indeed, we moved from the question: Do they really exist”? to the question “What are them?”

Are we witnessing an historic paradigm shift? It seems so.

In this regard the considerations made in the Report are very significant. These read under the UAP Collection Challenges section:

Sociocultural stigmas and sensor limitations remain obstacles to collecting data on UAP…

Narratives from aviators in the operational community and analysts from the military and IC describe disparagement associated with observing UAP, reporting it, or attempting to discuss it with colleagues.

Although the effects of these stigmas have lessened as senior members of the scientific, policy, military, and intelligence communities engage on the topic seriously in public, reputational risk may keep many observers silent, complicating scientific pursuit of the topic”.

While reading this sentence one is stunned. The Pentagon is complaining how the social stigma associated with aliens limits their advancements on the matter. But it is exactly them who created and fed the stigma for decades.

In seventy-five years all US institutional array has always denied any UFO (UAP) sighting and ridiculed with planned smear campaigns anyone who tried to seriously study the phenomenon. And now they come and tell us that we need to overcome the social stigma. It is truly impressive how brazen power can be.

In any case, the very fact that the Pentagon complains about the social stigma on the UFO/UAP topic and even pretends to be surprised at the extent of a problem that they themselves have created and fueled for seventy-five years, means that the wind has changed.

3. UFO Disclosure: Minimum Evidence.

It is true, the fact that UFOs exist does not necessarily mean that those objects come from extraterrestrial civilizations or that they necessarily are alien spaceships; we want to be clear about this.

We think that surely some of the so-called UFOs (now UAPs) are extraterrestrial ships with extraterrestrial crew. But it might not be like that. We may discover, for example, that UAP are extra dimensional objects, and therefore outside the four of which we have daily experience with (height, width, depth, time).

We simply do not know yet. Today we know that UAP are real objects; now we need to understand what they are.

4. UFO Disclosure: A Scientific Revolution?

How important are the implications of all this? The incipit quote by Jim Semivan makes it pretty clear.

And we absolutely agree with Mr Semivan. The mere confirmation that UFOs exist will have a heavy and radical impact on all aspects of human cultures, which are innumerable.

An example above all: can Ufology now claim the right to be called science? Why not? If UFO/UAP exist and ufology studies them why shouldn’t this latter have scientific status? Will UFO acknowledgement lead to a revolution?

What is science? Science is any system of knowledge that is concerned with the physical world and its phenomena and that entails unbiased observations and systematic experimentation. In general, science involves a pursuit of knowledge covering general truths or the operations of fundamental laws.

From the 25th of June of 2021 we know that UAPs are part of the physical world and its phenomena. Science also entails unbiased observations and systematic experimentation and this is exactly what ufology does. Finally, Ufology involves a pursuit of knowledge and covers general truths (the unidentified object) as well as the operations of fundamental scientific laws, even considering that the UAP seems capable of breaking those laws.
