UFOs In Bible – The Flight Of the Gods

UFOs in the Bible: Zoom in on “cloud”(Ānān). The Bible describes very odd “clouds”, a means of transport for the Elohim, perhaps? From the analysis of the biblical verses it seems a plausible hypothesis.

“And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.”Matthew 24:30

Here are a few biblical examples that we believe best represent these peculiar “clouds” and help us understand what biblical clouds might have been: UFOs endowed with incredible alien powers.

4. UFOs In The Bible: Decoding Exodus – The Cloud And The Dark Force Field.

Exodus 14 – 19, 20:

And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them;

And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

First of all, as we will see in the upcoming articles, the entity commonly referred to as the “angel of God” is, in fact, not an angel of God but rather a messenger of the Elohim. It would be more appropriate to regard this being as a senior officer or a highly ranked military commander of the Elohim. However, due to the necessity for people to maintain their faith in God, it has been translated as the “angel of God.” In this regard we suggest reading the article: Malakhim – the hidden identity of (biblical) Angels.

We see in this passage that the cloud, or rather “the pillar of the cloud”, moves around and follows the movement of the messenger.

Is it because it was ready to transport the messenger back onto the spaceship? We believe this doesn’t exclude the possibility that the light beam could also function as a tractor beam.

Additionally, this pillar of the cloudplaces itself between the camp of the Egyptians and that of the Israelites. While providing light at night to the Israelites it seemingly had the effect of obscuring, somehow, the Israelites’ camp to the eyes of the Egyptians thus enveloping the entire camp of the Egyptians inside a sort of dark force field.

What the “cloud” might have been, we have no way to say, and as seen in the previous part of this series, philology is in a blind alley. All we can do is explore the text further and seek for further clues.

5. UFOs In The Bible: Thunderous Landing – The Enigmatic Cloud At Mount Sinai.

“16 – On the morning of the third day there were peals of thunder and lightning, and a heavy cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled.

17 – But Moses led the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stationed themselves at the foot of the mountain.

The scene presented to us has strong UFO contours: As described, on the morning of the third day, an extraordinary phenomenon unfolded before the people gathered at the foot of Mount Sinai. The mountain itself was engulfed in a thick cloud, accompanied by peals of thunder, lightning, and an incredibly loud trumpet blasts. The sheer magnitude of these sensory experiences caused the entire camp to tremble with fear and anticipation.

One cannot help but draw parallels between this vivid description and a potential extraterrestrial spacecraft landing. The elements described in the text – deafening noises, fire, smoke, glaring lights, trumpet blasts, and the violent trembling of the earth – vividly suggest a description that a man of 2,600 years ago could make of the landing of a space ship.

Again, it all starts with a strange huge cloud that settles over mount Sinai.

6. UFOs In The Bible: Transfiguration Of Jesus.

The transfiguration of Jesus is an episode of the life of Jesus described in the Synoptic Gospels, Mark, Matthew and, Luke. It presents us with yet another intriguing episode that raises questions and hints at otherworldly involvement.

According to these texts, after withdrawing with the disciples Peter, James and John, Jesus changed his appearance: his face became extraordinary bright  and his clothes astonishingly white.

At some point Moses and Elijah suddenly appeared from nowhere and while they talk with Jesus a voice is heard, coming from a cloud stationing above them, which declares the divine sonship of Jesus.

“1. After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.

2. And he was transfigured before them; his face shone like the sun and his clothes became white as light.

3. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, conversing with him.

4. Then Peter said to Jesus in reply,“Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

5. While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud cast a shadow over them, then from the cloud came a voice that said,“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”

The entire description has strong UFO contours. What was this transfiguration really? What does it mean that Jesus’ clothes became as white as light and his face shone brightly? Why did Moses and Elijah suddenly appear seemingly out of nowhere?

Star Trek teleporting scene

It almost seems that Jesus is being teleported back to the “cloud”. Eventually, the bright cloud hovers above them and a voice is heard from there.

When examining this account through the lens of modern understanding, one cannot help but draw parallels to teleportation-like scenarios depicted in science fiction, such as the iconic scenes from Star Trek where characters are transported from one location to another in a matter of seconds.

The parallels between the transfiguration account and UFO encounters are striking, inviting us to explore the possibility that these biblical events involved advanced technology or beings from beyond our world.

Once again, we encounter a cloud-like phenomenon that defies conventional explanation.

7.The Abduction Of Jesus.

The Ascension, as described in the accounts of the evangelist Luke found in Luke 24:51 and Acts 1:9-11, marks the final episode of Jesus’ earthly presence.

According to the Acts, Jesus, after rising from the dead and appearing repeatedly to the Apostles, ascended to heaven in his physical body in order not to appear again on Earth until his Second Coming (also called “parousìa”). The details of this ascension are described exclusively in the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles.

Acts 1:9-11:

When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight. While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going, suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood beside them.”

Once again, we encounter a narrative infused with unmistakable ufological elements, as we bear witness to a genuine scene of abduction.

Jesus is lifted skyward by the “cloud”; he rises under the amazed eyes of the bystanders and slowly moves away into the sky to disappear within the “cloud”, so much so that the author tells us:

While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going” which seems to suggest the classic withdrawal mode that we see in science fiction films.

“he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.”

As in the transfiguration episode, we have again two men dressed in white garments” that suddenly appear out of nowhere.

Amidst various aspects, one very important detail should be noted. Within the Christian tradition, this episode has been portrayed as “the ascension of Jesus,” utilizing an active verb, “ascension,” in order to convey the message that Jesus himself voluntarily ascended.

Yet, this is not what the original Greek text says, which instead uses the Greek verb “epērthē” which indicates a passive action.

Jesus is somehow sucked in, taken from above.

Jesus did not ascend to heaven voluntarily or under his own impulse, but rather he was taken up, lifted from above, which is a very different thing.

8. The Second Coming

In Christian theology the Parousia indicates the return to earth of Jesus at the end of time. The Parousia occurred frequently in apostolic preaching. Paul of Tarsus, in fact, in the First Letter to the Corinthians hoped to be still alive at the time of the Parusia, so much so that he concludes this letter with the expression “maràna tha”, “Come, O Lord.”

Even in the Parousia the clouds seem to play a crucial role:

Revelation 1:7

Behold, he is coming amid the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him.”

Mark 14:62

Then Jesus answered, “I am; and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

Could these cloud manifestations provide insights into the interplay between advanced technology, divine beings, and our ancient past?

In conclusion, the biblical accounts depicting enigmatic clouds present us with fascinating mysteries and raise thought-provoking questions. These peculiar “clouds” described in the Bible may hold deeper significance than mere atmospheric phenomena. They appear to be intricately linked to the activities of divine beings or advanced technology.

As we delve deeper into these biblical narratives, exploring the connection between cloud manifestations and the return of Jesus in the concept of the Parousia, we are left wondering about the true nature of these phenomena and their significance in understanding our ancient history.

“Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, having a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand.”Revelation 14:14
